The Studio
The Flower Lab is a home-based floral design studio in lovely Santa Monica specializing in weddings, special events, and standing accounts for businesses and homes. We love flowers and pride ourselves in achieving the perfect look for any occasion and setting using the right blend of color, texture, and form.
The Flower Lab was founded by Tweeny Kau, who received her training in floral design from the New York Botanical Garden. Tweeny worked with flowers in Manhattan before moving out to Los Angeles and starting her own floral business. Prior to flowers, she was a cancer biologist with a doctorate from Harvard University. Somewhere along the line, Tweeny realized that life is too short and quit her job to be crafty and creative with her hands. These days you can find her playing with flowers or walking around Santa Monica with her dog, Salt. She was recently invited to be a featured blogger on the online community, Wedding Aces, a place for industry vendors to share their craft and knowledge with brides and grooms!
